Thomas Balkizas
Thomas Balkizas has a wealth of experience in leadership and consulting for Global Healthcare, Life Sciences and Technology businesses. Educated at Imperial College London, NTUA and Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, he has enjoyed managing the strategic direction of companies like IBM Watson Health, Toshiba Medical Systems, Henry Schein and IQVIA. He is a founder of Alpha Tech Capital, a boutique private equity advisory firm focusing on connecting high growth technology firms to investors. Thomas currently leads the Healthcare and Life Sciences segment in EMEA for Amazon Web Services (AWS), the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform.
Thomas lives in Richmond, London with his wife and 3 children.
